We stopped at the Rainforest Cafe for lunch on Saturday. The food was good, the decor was over the top, the people traffic was non-stop. What's a golden boy to do but shrug?
Thanks, Sandy, for the visceral experience of SEEING this photo. also love your spare, but dripping words. Refined Honey! Glad I found you. . . It's gonna be a good year! Aloha-
~HAPPY NEW YEAR~ Just wanted to remind you the Happy New Year offer ends Mon. Jan. 5th at noon for the free 8x10 print. Spread the word for people to post and e-mail David Bowman by then :) Have a beautiful Sunday! ♥ Hugs! Shauna
I've only been to the Rainforest Cafe once, but do remember feeling like a kid, gawking at all the decor. It's impossible to see it all. Thanks for sharing some of it.
I have been to many Rainforest Cafes before but never notice this statue. Thanks for sharing. Next time, I am there, I'll think of you and look for this statue. Congrats also for that Van Gogh's Ear award. HAPPY NEW YEAR to you!
I can't help but think the big guy has shrugged many times. Hard to imagine all of us buzzing in your ear all day and night and not getting annoyed with it now and again.

ReplyDeleteThat brilliant color, that luscious shine you've captured--that's nothing to shrug about. I doubt Atlas himself would shrug at that.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful colours in this picture Sandy! It made me think of Tut ank Amon .
Unusual one!
ReplyDeleteAtlas may very well tire of carrying us on his brawny shoulders this year. I would not be surprised to see him shrug.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of the cafe. Sounds like an experience I should place on my list of places to vist in this life.
Your photo resembles a supersized Oscar.

The stature does remind me of Las Vegas. I wonder if he's wishing to have some coffee too:) not easy to be standing there for so long.
