love the thought-spring is asleep. great photos to go along with the words, we are warm today which makes things want to start growing but spring is still aways off. it's the jan. thaw!
Happy New Year Sandy. I think that the buds on your tree are telling us that spring is just around the corner. I have my fingers crossed too. Lovely views thank you for sharing.
I have been noticing those buds on trees around here too. It is amazing to see them form. It is so cold here the past few days that I wonder if they will survive. Lovin those blue skies.
Now you're talking. Not only a beautiful blue sky, but a steeple. One of my four favorite subjects. The other three being old barns, old bridges, and windmills. Have a great weekend. Pappy
I popped over from Lin's site as she mentions you today. I'm glad I came. Those photos are wonderful. I love how you graduated the anticipation with the 3 expanding views.
What a beautiful blue sky! The northern hemisphere has a very heavy winter this year ... Very cold and lots of snow nearly everywhere ... Let's hope we'll have a beautiful spring too! Have a nice week-end! :-)
Hehe ... maybe where YOU are, but not here. Of course, once we've had a few days of these gusty Santa Ana winds, we may not have many signs of Spring left in So Cal. These are both LOVELY blue skies ... so clear and vibrant ... and the steeple is wonderful contrast against them. Hugs and blessings,

I love the contrast between the two pics. Cold stark reality in the first and a softer one of the buds in the second where hope springs eternal...
ReplyDeleteI see this here in Adelaide. Spring starting well before you expect it. Our unproductive time is now with all the hot dry weather making plants wilt.
