We drove from Massachusetts to Georgia Mon-Weds, and there was a lot of that gray November going on! We drove through snow flurries 3 or 4 times, too. Blech. I really do not enjoy blustery days like that, especially while driving!
Hmmm - your post this weeks looks rather familiar. Like my post last week! Yes, the fall weather is rather bleak - but there's a certain mystery to mist, beautiful in its own way. Lovely.
Wow... this photo really stimulates the imahination! I can see New England is really very much like Old England, whenever I was there I have been amazed by the fairylike quality of it. I blame the mist for half of it, the other half is a mystery...
Love this, fog could be harbinger of so many things. November, novemeber unless you're on Cute Overload and then it's "Nosevember". I'm seeing a lot of grey skies and fog on different blogs so November might be a series of grey days for some people. Then again, Advent is just around the corner...
I like this picture a lot, as said before, to look through fog, which is like a veil. Makes one look more closely at the picture. Trees are great subjects clothed or unclothed. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Sandy...been awhile since I last visited, but always a pleasure to drop by....how is everything in Connecticut? Must be getting cold by now.....cheers, Scotty
It looks like the headless horseman of Sleepy Hollow will make its appearance in your picture. Beautiful and moody, don't forget to turn your fog lights on.
I'm not real fond of fog. I see I missed my opportunity this past week when we had foggy mornings. Maybe another opportunity will present itself. I think I want to try my hand at it after seeing yours and a few others recently.
I love fogs, they're always so mystical and at least in Northern Australia never cold, but your photo of trees with no leaves makes me believe it is cold where you are. Perhaps I find them mystical because I'm lucky if I get to experience a fog a year!
BEAUTIFUL mysterious 'misty' capture ... mirroring a foggy day WE had recently here. I took some photos of the palm trees that aren't so lovely as the leafless trees here and I'll share them soon. I did share a recent sky at Sacred Ruminations Friday ;--) Hugs and blessings,

ReplyDeleteWhat, no ghost story with that?

It's gorgeous, I love it. I still can't decide if I like trees better with or without leaves...you have me leaning toward 'without'.
Happy SWF!

Very different from November around here. Here it is very, very sunny and still warm. Not bragging, but sometimes I welcome the rain.

ReplyDeleteso mysterious ...
ReplyDeleteSpot on, Sandy! November and sky watching is often about fog on the move. Up, down, in and out.
ReplyDeleteIn fact, it's the same theme on my post today.

ReplyDeleteMost of my life November was like this. Not anymore. This is so mystical. Beautiful photo. I love your next post with the barn photo, too. Lovely!
