Sandy, am I going crazy or what?! I just posted my SWF with a section about blog comments, because this morning I wasn't able to access your previous post, and just now on a lark I clicked to comment here, and it's back to a format I CAN leave a comment on!! Of course I'm happy for that, but I'm shaking my head over the explanation. Anyway, I love your tree and the bright blue sky. That's a grand old tree I would definitely bow 'namaste' to!
that tree reminds me of life and how we sometimes feel after a few hard knocks or trials but it is resilient and still going/growing and producing in spite of setbacks. Great photo.
Hi Sandy, this must be a Washington apple tree. They are pretty much like us Texans, we stand on our own. [Crooked or not! :-)]. Anyway, it is very pretty.
I don't have a Skywatch, I'm sitting out. Unless I change my mind like I did for WW, for that I came late just to have one. Happy Skywatching. Your WW picture with the reflection was beautiful. ..
You can't imagine what memories this picture brings..I worked at an apple orchard for almost 20 years. I pruned them in the winter and picked in the fall, with lots of other jobs in between!
What a wonderful old tree with interesting branch structures and BEAUTIFUL blue skies! I’m relieved to know you pull over to take the photos rather than snapping them as you drive. These are amazing studies in light & dark! Thanks for sharing. My Sky Watch is at Sacred Ruminations with a bit of Haiku as usual. Hugs and blessings,
Ah, the beauty of SWF, Sandy. Take a look skyward and really observe the beauty of what we miss in our daily coming and going. What better than the bold blue sky seen through an apple tree. Thank you!
Love this SkyWatch! Love your turn of phrase! I am sorry you've had a rough week. Thank you so much for coming by my new blog and seeing my paintings. I love visiting you on yours....it always touches me spiritually, whether it's your writing, your photos or your stories about teaching. You have a sweet spirit. God bless you too... Marie
