This was my view of the sky at the Bethlehem Fair last Friday evening. The peace and quiet of heaven seemed strangely at home over the bright lights of the carnival rides and hustle and bustle of the country fair.
Looks like two fronts in some kind of conflict. Nice shot.
My Sky Watch Friday blog is at my Canon Pixels blog. If you have time I would appreciate your having a look at the sky peeking through the oak tree leaves.
I love how the clouds have swirled around the (sun)light. Excellent shot.
I have another site too so you can find my sky watch at the usual site and a second skywatch on my new site called Cath's Cradle. Please come see if you get time.
That is a very pretty night sky scene. My little Sony won't take take night sky pictures, my old Kodak tried. Happy SkyWatching, we are just waiting for Ike. That picture was taken about 1:00 PM this afternoon. Things are pretty much in order, we do the 'shelter in place' to keep the freeways and highways not so crowded for those forced to evacuate. .. Yes, we will leave after the storm if our home is unlivable, but it is supposed to be only a Catagory One hurricane when it gets north to us. :-) And no sea storm surge up here in the hills. There may be a lot of rain if Ike slows down. ..
I hope many others took the time to look up and be filled with awe.... it really is a beautiful view... and I can see where you was coming fromwith the title.
Happy Sky Watching Sandy... and thank you for being out there helping Sky Watch to tick over smoothly each and every week.. you are very much appreciate for sure... and I want you to know that. :O)
Lovely photograph makes you want to climb inside the centre, full of promise. I recon it was saying to the fair. Any thing you can do I can do better. It was right too. Thanks for dropping by SWF.
OH WOW... that's some really intense light swirling around in there! I really do love this photograph... it's beautiful! I am happy to have dropped in. ~Michele J~ Mountain Retreat
