Last week my daughter and I stopped at White Flower Farm to take a little walk through some very beautiful gardens on our way from Wisdom House to Waterbury to do our chores.
These urns at the main entrance survived the trip from Greece. You know I didn't drive them over! It was a drizzly day, and my daughter felt chilly, so she was happy to get back in the car and enjoy these flowers from there.
Across the street were these lovely creatures, destined for sale as "Angus beef." I'd love to bust them out for a brighter future on the road!

Wonderful quote. I love the shots and am envious of you living close enough to go to White Flower Farm. They send me their catalog and I can look at it for hours. As a matter of fact the peony which I use for the header on my wordless blog was purchased as a bare root plant from White Flower Farm and bloomed for the first time this year.

ReplyDeleteHi Sandy, this must have been a nice and pretty visit even in the rain. We enjoy doing things like that. The best we could do this weekend was to visit a dealer of old cars in Fredericksburg, Texas.
