This weekend, we've spent time preparing for Easter. Among our decorations are these washi Easter eggs that my daughter and I made a few years ago by gluing handmade paper to blown eggs. They have lasted longer than we thought they would!

They look wonderful. I want to get some Ukrainian egg decorating done. I took a class on it about a year ago.

Wow! Easter eggs! I love Easter. Actually, Holy Week is my favorite season especially when I was younger. Easter is my favorite. That is the time that I finally met my husband!

Very pretty! I love washi but I've never done the eggs. I did make traditional Ukrainian Easter eggs a couple of times though. This looks much easier and more fun.
ReplyDeleteGee, MotherDear just went out and bought us the giant bag of multi-colored pastel platic eggs. I don't recall ever dying eggs so I'm thinking she wasn't in to Washi either. ;-)
