I really like this for the sheer patriotism of the picture. I love how you Americans do this... you really know how to wave your flags.... I wish England would do this..
Sandy, I always know before I click that your photo will be something very good. THIS is just AWESOME. The colors are brillant and you were at the right place at the right time to get such a shot. This one amazes me! God Bless.
Dick, I didn't treat this photo in any way. I couldn't because I don't have the software and wouldn't know how to anyway! All my work is composed in the camera.
It made me think of the song, and together with the marvelous photo, the idea that came through for me was that our freedom may well be blowing in the wind. It's right there, but how will we shape it in the years ahead after the controversies of the past decade? (Or am I overthinking this? :)
Oh Sandy I thought my shots of the American flag were good a while ago on my blog. But this one is incredible! How many shots did you take before you got that one? :D
That is such a cool shot! The colours against the blue sky are vibrant! And how the wind is billowing the flag - excellently captured. Very patriotic too.
I really found your blog interesting and well done, especially this flag for colors, contrast and form.
