We are supposed to have record high temps today. I wonder if the ice will still be there.
Winter is such a bleak time for me. The short days, cold winds and the fact I can't spend as much time outdoors really weighs on me. I guess that is what is so great about spring.
It is 65 degrees here in Georiga at 3:00 in the afternoon. No rain but it has been cloudy all day. They are calling for rain. I hope we get some since we are suffering from drought.
This is pretty! It reminds me of the rivers I experenced when I lived in New Hampshire. We don't have those in Southeastern Texas. Once in about 10 or 20 years we have a little snow. Happy WW! ..
Great pictures, but I ask like the other commenters, are you having the warm weather we are? Is the ice still there? Yesterday, in Toronto, I was outside a few times sans jacket and in a T-Shirt... it was like mid-May weather here.
The last few weeks my mine dreams of flowers. It seems that my fellow artist bloggers do too. Most of them have included this colorful natural sperit, a show of life regeneration. They remind us of the flying flowers called buterflys and birds. Why not get in the mood of with these pleasant colors of life

I have never been to a cold country yet, and I do not mind swapping places with you for a day or two :D Probably the coldest place I've ever been to was Kathmandu, Nepal last month.
