  1. Sandy, what a wonderful entry for WW! I only wish history would have been photos and commentaries instead of miserable memorization of dates and nonsense no one even recalls after the quizzes and tests we took...Wonderful photos!

  7. Chris,
Funny you should ask. The Red Coats stood up the patriots, so we won be default! (Ah, if all wars could be won that way!)

Great coverage of the muster. I don't know if I told you that I lived in Woodbury for 10 years and still have a lot of friends there. What a special place.

Awesome photos!! My parents lived in Bristol, RI for 6 years... they have the oldest running 4th f July parade in the country... and the build up to the 4th is all about the Colonial Days. It's great. These photos reminded me of it! Thanks for the great memory.

  40. I've never managed to make it to the Colonial Day in Exeter NH, just down the road. I keep forgetting the date!

Please don't take this the wrong way, but it's *quite* a shock to have music coming from the computer first thing in the morning! I much prefer when I have to click on a link to make a video work.

  52. As re-enactors ourselves, this one is a GREAT one for us! It's nice to see you upstart republicans celebrating! (Grins!)

    - Please Note - "Republican" in this sense meaning "The Republic for Which You Stand" vs. us nice folks over here who still sing God Save the Queen!
