What a beautiful tribute to your grandmother. Very well done. It made me cry, as I miss both of mine very much. Excellent post for WW. Have a great day. :)
While the damage may reduce the value to a collector it adds character to some treasure pieces. I bought a stone egg once because it has a strange stain running through the rock. I could have had a "perfect" one but I thought it was more interesting.
Everything can tell a story if we will take the time to listen. The problem is many have become too rushed to learn how to listed. Nice shot and happy ww
It is a beautiful bowl. Painted inside and out...that does sound interesting. I only see designs on the outside (i hope i read that right). I liked reading the story with it too.

ReplyDeleteI loved your poem. It's so true, living in a disposable society, everything always has to be perfect.
ReplyDeleteI like the effects of the photo- clear in the middle and fading around the sides. It gives an impression of aged beauty.
