
PBS will air the premier episode of this series, “Buying the War," on Wednesday, April 25, from 9 to 10:30 p.m. Eastern Time. The episode looks at how Big Media bought into the government's rationale for the war in Iraq. Moyers and his team piece together the reporting that shows how the media were complicit in shaping the public mind toward the war, and ask what’s happened to the press’ role as skeptical watchdog over government power.
