One Single Impression: Clandestine

Below the surface:  truth.
It is not hidden though you cannot see it.
It is not, in fact, hidden.
Merely, it is where you do not look.
Not hidden though undiscovered
And perhaps not sought,
The truth is available:
Put your ear to the ground
That you might know it
In the beat of your own heart.

  5. If this isn't the truth. How often do we just not look. We glance at life and not take it all in. Just take in what we want of it and then are so surprised when the truth smacks us in the face.

  6. Very beautifully written. If only we can be aware of the truth at all times and places, life would be so much easier. Cheers, Ruby

  15. Honesty, integrity.....truth. Sometimes not convenient in today's "have it now" culture. To expose ones self to the real truth of it all, means openness and the potential for pain in reality. How else to live a life openly? Without truth, then living a lie? Pointless.....

  16. Great! I really liked that. Most of us are lazy and just accept what someone else thinks as truth.

  17. I hope your St. Patrick's Day was a happy one, Sandy. That is the truth.

Truth, if we can't find it? Next best is to go with our heart or feelings. They could be wrong though.

Mrs. Jim says that just because I am telling the truth I really shouldn't be telling it for that reason, just because it is true.
Some things are better not said.
