Today's Flowers: My Love Is Like

From Arboretum

....a red red rose, so sweetly sprung in (April).  With a few petals missing.  This is life.  This is love.

(This is another gem from the New Hanover County Arboretum in Wilmington, North Carolina.)

  1. On many days, this rose is like life, but then when you add all the days up = perfect.

  3. I guess we've all had days like this rose -- I know I have! But the rose has a beautiful color and velvety petals -- and, yes, this is life and love! Have a beautiful day, Sandy!

I would rather be missing a few petals than a few marbles. :) This is a gorgeous photo, Sandy! Love the color!
