Today's Flowers: They're Still Going

Tulip

The big bunch of fire-colored tulips that I bought last week are still going pretty strong, despite a few little mishaps--like forgetting to put water in one of the vases and forgetting to change it in another. They drooped, they sprung back, they drooped again, I trimmed stems and added water, and it's all good!

  3. Tulips are my favs. Did you know, that as they die, they turn wrongside out and then back again. They appear to be very still, but they quiver and they dance.

  17. well your experience with them sure shows us something about their spirit, some flowers would not have survived. I have some yellow ones that keep on keeping on and until all this snow melts.... I might have to make sure i have flowers around to hold me over!
