One Single Impression: Stillness

Every Christmas Eve
I light a candle
And before bed
Put it on the front step
To burn.

Every Christmas morning
I step outside
To marvel
How deep and clean
Can burn
A single light

If you leave it be.

    This is beautiful Almost like putting a candle in your window .I light candles for people who died for three days . I like candles but fear fire.
