Skywatch Friday: A Reach

This beautiful sycamore tree reaches across Jack's Brook at the Tierney Preserve. It seems to me trees embody grace in the ways they grow through, around, and even beyond each other to get to the light.

  22. Yes the limbs do stretch out towards the light.
You can make them curl by turning the tree around and around.
    Real art this.

  26. Great pic. I love sycamore trees this time of year. They can really show off their bark.
Trees in groups are so cool in how they manage to find the light they need. Its almost like a dance or a game of Twister.

  28. There is a beauty to every season. Winter is the time to enjoy the limbs of the trees. If a big old tree could talk what stories they could tell us of the folks who walked and wondered beside them.
    Happy Thanksgiving.
