Wordless Wednesday: 'This Book is my Life'

thief

This is my nephew Alex's book. I think it's impressive; if I were author Rick Riordan, I would be very pleased by the condition of this book. It seems to me we have less of a need for new things than a need for tape to preserve the things we have--and hold dear.

  5. I have seen such books. I have one that has a rubber band around it. Actually I have more than one with a rubber band. I must be hard on books.

  11. So true, I'm reading a book that i read long ago that's been passed around the family for so long that it's almost like reading for the first time and it's badly in need of some new tape. :) to hold it together Happy NY & WW
