This coneflower was loving life amid some gorgeous black-eyed Susans at the visitor's center just across the southern border of Vermont.

  7. Now, ignorant question. It looks more like Echinacia to me. I haven't a clue how to spell it... :-)

    My cone flower is yellow.
    And it is 6' tall. I cannot believe it!
    Am I misinformed?!!!!

  17. I love your macro! And the petal is very interesting. It has a lighter shade of pink. What I normally see is the dark burgundy. I love it!

  35. Isn't echinacea supposed to be good for treating cold symptoms or something? Seems like I've seen it in cough drops or some other remedy.

    I wonder if that's the cure for the Summertime Blues?
