Weekend Snapshot: An Eye for You

IMG 6219

On the last day of a short break from work last week, I went for a walk near my parents' home and met this dude. He was quite the flirt; he stole my heart when he tried to eat my coat and gloves.

  1. Oh how lovely!
When my son and I used to walk to school together, there was a pony who lived on the way. One day when the blackberries were filling the hedgerows we fed him some, and every day after that he'd wait for us. The blackberries didn't last long but he always waited, and a tickle on the nose and few moments' conversation seemed good enough then.

Thanks for bringing back that memory!

  5. Reminds me of the one that sneaked up on me when I was shooting a friend's riding lesson once. I didn't even hear him because the ground was so wet and soft. Next thing I know there's this huge snout sniffing at the leather jacket I was wearing and Jen (my friend) and Karen (her riding instructor) were yelling at me from across the ring, "Watch out! He bites!" He didn't though. But he did give me a pretty good shove as he walked away.

No mascara? No eyeliner? No false eyelashes? No tinted contacts? No wonder there is no red carpet under him/her!

This is FREAKY. I just left my friend June's place. She had posted a close of a horse's eyelashes and I typed a comment: I bet that horse can flirt. http://spatter.typepad.com/spatter/2009/02/monochrome-monday-cow-lashes.html

I bet that horse can flirt.

  33. Beautiful picture. I grew up around my share of horses. They can have a way of stealing your heart. And it's always with those big brown eyes.
