Which is to Say, 'I Love You'

Often we remain silent when we need to speak. Without words, it is hard to love well. It is not always easy to express our love directly in words. But whenever we do, we discover we have offered a blessing that will be long remembered. (Henri J. M. Nouwen, Bread for the Journey, A Daybook of Wisdom and Faith)

Beautiful post Sandy. And I love the flower puc to go with :) We should all use the word love to express our feelings more often :)

My blessing is now online too at the Pastymes blog. Stop by if you have a moment :)

  3. Beautiful Sandy. Saying "I love you" is a vulnerable thing to do. There are times, it is not received and it hurts us. When the feelings are mutual though, it can make a person blossom as nothing else can.

    I love this photo!

  4. What beautiful flowers. It seems that when each flower blooms it is their way of saying..."I love you and I love myself."

And I believe that we must love ourselves in order to convey our love to others.

Great post that promted me to think.

    I just love visiting you!

  21. If we were as open in sharing our love as these flowers are open in sharing their beauty, we would all feel beautiful and loved.
