Skywatch Friday: Fairly Heaven

Host unlimited photos at slide.com for FREE!

This was my view of the sky at the Bethlehem Fair last Friday evening. The peace and quiet of heaven seemed strangely at home over the bright lights of the carnival rides and hustle and bustle of the country fair.

  23. That is a very pretty night sky scene. My little Sony won't take take night sky pictures, my old Kodak tried.
Happy SkyWatching, we are just waiting for Ike.
That picture was taken about 1:00 PM this afternoon. Things are pretty much in order, we do the 'shelter in place' to keep the freeways and highways not so crowded for those forced to evacuate.
    ..
Yes, we will leave after the storm if our home is unlivable, but it is supposed to be only a Catagory One hurricane when it gets north to us. :-)
And no sea storm surge up here in the hills. There may be a lot of rain if Ike slows down.
